ABOUT CANYON COUNTY PARAMEDICS

stethCanyon County Paramedics is an ambulance taxing district serving the citizens of Canyon County in the high desert region of Southwest Idaho. We have approximately 60 pre-hospital care providers including Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics. We currently have seven ambulance stations: three in Nampa, two in Caldwell, one in Middleton and one in Wilder. We provide 911 emergency services, critical care inter-facility transports and event stand-bys. Our field personnel are highly skilled pre-hospital care providers with diverse backgrounds and well-respected expertise. The quality of medicine we deliver to our patients is first rate.

Canyon County is situated on 604 square miles of city and rural lands in southwest Idaho.  It is bordered by Payette and Gem Counties on the north, Ada County on the east, Owyhee County to the south, and Malheur County, Oregon to the west.

The US Census Bureau reports an estimated 2011 population in Canyon County at 191,694 with a 1.5% increase from 2010. Nampa is the county's largest city with a population nearing 83,000. Caldwell is the second largest city with a population near 47,000.
